Wong Ban Suan
Ban Suan has close to 30 years of Treasury experience in foreign exchange, interest rates, credit and derivatives markets.
From 2001 to 2009, Ban Suan was the Managing Director and Head of Group Central Treasury in DBS Bank where he was also the Vice Chairman of its Group ALCO and Chairman of its Structural Foreign Exchange Committee.
Prior to his appointment into DBS Bank, Ban Suan was Managing Director and Head of Interest Rate Trading and Proprietary Trading at JP Morgan. In his 20 years of trading experience at JP Morgan, he was actively involved in foreign exchange, interest rates, equities and derivatives trading. Ban Suan was also a member of the Singapore Foreign Exchange Markets Committee from 1996 to 2009.
Ban Suan has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He was the sole recipient of The Asian Banker Achievement Award for Treasury 2006.
